i had no idea that it would take TWO CONSULTANTS (dr. c working at the speed of 1.5 consultants and a trainee working at the speed of a .5 consultant) all day to do just one-half of my hair. neither did they or else they probably would have charged me more. but back then it was hard to even give sisterlocks away so the $350 price tag that seemed so very expensive (especially for a student) at the time would be bargain basement pricing today. despite the savings on time, one of my concerns @ having TWO CONSULTANTS install my locks was @ the parting. would my parts come out in straight and exact military lines and grids or would they be uneven, askew and a little off? well, eleven years later, i still have the same parts that are so evenly matched up that i could not tell that they were done by TWO CONSULTANTS (even though i do remember exactly which consultant did each section of my hair and could tell you if you asked me).
and having one extra mouth to keep the conversation going when one of us got bored was an added and much appreciated bonus.
